Mirage Cord is the ideal body material for creating lifelike zonkers and baitfish imitations. The mirror-like qualities of Mirage Cord closely mimic reflective qualities of live baitfish. Depending upon light conditions, water clarity, and depth the appearance of a live baitfish can vary greatly. The properties of Mirage Cord react in much the same way and flies tied with this material look very natural and lifelike.
